Kent Police hunt witnesses after fatal A26 crash in Wateringbury

Deadly smash on Tonbridge Road

Kent Police were called at 12.39am on Sunday, June 10, after a black Honda motorcycle collided with a stationary blue Skoda Fabia on the A26 Tonbridge Road in Wateringbury. Emergency crews, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene.

Tragically, the rider — a man in his 20s — was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police seek crucial witnesses

Officers want anyone who saw the crash or spotted the motorcycle beforehand to step forward. They are especially keen to speak with the driver of a white estate car, thought to be an Audi or Skoda, seen on Tonbridge Road near the time of the collision.

This driver may hold vital clues to help crack the case.
