Kent Police smashed a huge cannabis operation on Tuesday, 6 February 2024, shutting down an illegal grow site deep in the Kent countryside. The raid at a rural property on Hastings Road, Rolvenden, near Tenterden, came after locals tipped off officers about suspicious activity.
180 Cannabis Plants Seized in High-Tech Setup
Officers found around 180 cannabis plants thriving in a highly organised grow room. The site featured sophisticated equipment, including tampered electrical supplies to power the illegal operation. Specialists were called in to safely disconnect the rigged electricity and secure the scene.
Two Men Arrested, Released on Bail
Two men, aged 49 and 50, were arrested in connection with the grow site. Both suspects have now been released on bail as investigations continue.
