WW2 Bombs Found in Kings Hill, Kent Spark Police and Army Bomb Alert

Kent Police teamed up with Army Bomb Disposal experts after two unexploded World War Two bombs were discovered in Kings Hill, Kent.

First Bomb Found on Warwick Way

Officers were called just after 4:30pm on Monday to Warwick Way following the discovery of an unexploded ordnance. The Army Bomb Disposal unit quickly stepped in to assess and secure the device.

Second Bomb Discovered Nearby

Not long after, a second Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) was found on the adjacent road, Gibson Drive, raising tensions in the peaceful neighbourhood.

Area Locked Down as Experts Decide Next Steps

The police have set up a strict cordon around the area while the Army Bomb Squad investigates. They will decide whether a controlled explosion is required to neutralise the dangerous devices. Local residents remain on edge as specialists work to make the bombs safe.
