A pensioner is fighting for his life after being slammed by a white VW panel van in Larkfield. The horror crash happened at 8.10am on 21 December 2025, right at the hectic Leybourne Way and Gighill Road junction.
Dog Walk Turns Deadly for Elderly Man
The victim, in his 80s, was out walking his dog when tragedy struck. Emergency crews raced to the scene as the van driver immediately stopped. The pensioner suffered critical injuries and was rushed to hospital. Luckily, his faithful dog escaped with minor wounds and is now recovering at home.
