A specialised DIM (Detection, Identification and Monitoring) vehicle from Hampshire Fire and Rescue was deployed to analyse an unknown substance found at the scene. Authorities are working to determine if it’s connected to the assault.

“A 47-year-old man is in hospital following the assault and an investigation is underway,” said a Hampshire police spokesperson.
