A huge fire has erupted in Maidenhead town centre in the early hours, sparking a full emergency response. Twelve fire engines from across Berkshire and Hampshire raced to the scene at The Landing Hub – a key part of the town’s regeneration project.

Teams from Maidenhead, Reading, Windsor, Bracknell, Woking, Dee Road and Rushmoor are tackling the inferno. Thames Valley Police are also on site, managing the chaos and closing off large sections of the town centre to keep the public safe.
