Man Arrested After Fatal Crash in Walthamstow
Deadly Smash at Busy Walthamstow Junction
A man has been arrested following a tragic collision that claimed the life of a 26-year-old pedestrian in Walthamstow.
The horrific crash happened around 12:30am on 12th December at the infamous junction of Forest Road and Blackhorse Road. A car struck the pedestrian before smashing into a nearby building.
Emergency teams, including the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and Fire Brigade, rushed to the scene. Despite desperate efforts, the young victim was pronounced dead at 1:04am.
Suspect Held as Police Probe Deadly Crash
A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody for questioning as detectives continue their investigation.
