Man Arrested After Two Shocking Sexual Assaults in Rochester

Two Women Attacked in Separate Early-Morning Incidents

A 36-year-old Rochester man is in police custody following two disturbing sexual assaults reported earlier this week. The first incident occurred on Wednesday, 11 March, around 8:40am on Monastery Street, where a woman was inappropriately touched over her clothes by a stranger.

The next day, Thursday 12 March at about 7:40am, a second woman was targeted in a similar attack on Crow Lane.

Kent Police Crack Case with Rapid Arrest

Kent Police launched an immediate investigation, canvassing the neighbourhood and reviewing CCTV footage. Their swift action led to the arrest of a local man on Friday, 13 March.
