A man has been arrested and a suspected firearm seized by police in Birmingham in the early hours of November 1.

Just after midnight, officers were alerted by a member of the public who spotted a man walking along Station Road in #Stechford carrying what appeared to be a gun.

The suspect moved onto Lyttelton Road, where armed officers detained him swiftly.

Firearm Recovered, 41-Year-Old Held on Firearms Offences

Officers recovered a suspected firearm nearby. The 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and remains in police custody.
