Teen Attacked and Robbed in Ashford Underpass

Kent police are hunting witnesses after a shocking robbery in Ashford. Just before midnight on Tuesday 7 May 2019, a teenage boy was jumped by two attackers in the underpass near Station Road.

Victim Suffers Injuries, iPhone Stolen

The robbers made off with the boy’s iPhone 5S. He was left with bruises and facial injuries and rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Local Man Arrested but Released on Bail

A 22-year-old Ashford man was arrested on suspicion of robbery the next day, Wednesday 8 May. He’s now out on bail while police carry out further investigations.

Police Call for Witnesses

Officers urge anyone who saw the attack or has any information to come forward immediately. Help catch the culprits and bring justice for the victim.
