Man Held After Dawn Robbery at Eythorne Shop
Police swooped early Wednesday morning after a brazen robbery near Dover. At 7.16am on November 20, a man wearing dark clothes stormed into a shop on Sandwich Road, Eythorne, demanding cash from staff.
Cash Stolen, Suspect Makes Quick Getaway
The robber grabbed a haul of cash from the till before fleeing in a car. Passersby tried to stop him but he managed to escape the scene.
49-Year-Old Arrested, Remains in Custody
Later that same morning, cops arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of robbery. He is still in police custody as inquiries continue.
