Tragic M2 Crash: Woman Dies in Horror Collision
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a deadly smash on the M2 motorway.
At 6.14am on Sunday, 27 November 2022, a red Nissan Qashqai collided with a red Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG between junctions 6 and 5 on the London-bound carriageway.
Woman in Her 50s Killed, Man Arrested
Emergency crews rushed to the scene. Sadly, the Nissan’s driver, a woman in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the spot.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving.
The motorway was shut for hours, reopening around 4pm. The woman’s family have been informed.
Police Launch Serious Collision Investigation
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) want information from anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage.
