A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were on patrol in Stepney Way, E1, when they pursued a man on foot at 9.49am on Thursday, 7 November. He was detained and arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. He has been taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody. Enquiries continue.”
