Murder Probe Launched After Man Found Dead in North London Flat

Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a man was found in a North London flat on Friday night.

Tragic Discovery on Moselle Avenue

Officers were called to a property on Moselle Avenue, N22, at around 9.45pm on 20 September following welfare concerns for the occupant. They forced entry and discovered the body of 40-year-old Marvin Dixon.

His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers. The Metropolitan Police Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.

Blunt Force Trauma Confirmed as Cause of Death

A post-mortem carried out on Sunday, 22 September, confirmed blunt force trauma as the cause of death.

On the same day, a 36-year-old man was arrested in Edmonton on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a North London police station.
