Teen Held Over Fatal West Ealing Stabbing
Detectives have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder following a fatal stabbing in West Ealing. The suspect was detained on Monday, 2 December, and remains in custody at a north London police station.
Victim Found Stabbed Outside West Ealing Station
Police were called at 1.18am on Sunday, 24 November, after reports of an injured man outside West Ealing station on Drayton Green Road, W13. Officers and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
They discovered 26-year-old Mehran Heydari slumped inside a vehicle with a stab wound. Despite desperate efforts by medics, Mehran was pronounced dead at the scene.
Altercation Nearby Linked to Tragic Death
Detectives believe Mehran was attacked during a fight on The Avenue, just 100 metres from the station where his Mini crashed. The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the murder investigation, and Mehran’s next of kin have been informed.
Single Stab Wound to the Heart Killed Victim
A post-mortem at Fulham Mortuary confirmed Mehran died from a single stab wound to the heart. Police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the killing.
