A man in his 50s was found with severe head injuries just after midnight on Fernhill Street, Silvertown, east London. Scotland Yard confirmed police were called following reports of an assault in the area.
Air Ambulance Airlifts Victim as Crime Scene Secured
The Met revealed London Ambulance Service alerted them to the emergency. London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene in the early hours and airlifted the victim to hospital. His condition is currently life-threatening.
No Arrests Made Yet
At this stage, police have not detained anyone. A crime scene remains in place as officers continue their investigation into the savage attack.
