Man Stabbed to Death in Wandsworth Street Brawl
Police are hunting for answers after a man was fatally stabbed in broad daylight on Latchmere Road, Wandsworth.
Violent Attack in the Afternoon
Officers were called to reports of a fight at around 2:45pm on Wednesday, 3 July. Emergency services found a 40-year-old man with serious stab wounds. Despite being rushed to hospital, he died at 7:40pm that evening.
Investigation Underway, No Arrests Yet
The victim’s family have been informed, though formal identification is still pending. The Homicide and Major Crime Command are now leading the investigation. Police have made no arrests and are piecing together what sparked the deadly brawl.
Road Closures and Witness Appeal
Latchmere Road remains closed as officers carry out forensic work. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 or tweet using reference CAD 4856/3 July.
