Tragedy struck in East Worldham near Bordon after a pedestrian was fatally injured in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle. The 35-year-old man from Farnham was hit by a Scania HGV on Green Street (B3004) at 3.05pm on Friday, 21 July.

The victim was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital but sadly passed away on Tuesday, 25 July. Police confirmed his family are being supported by specialist officers during this heartbreaking time.

HGV Driver Released but Probe Still Underway

The HGV driver, a 38-year-old man from Tamworth, was arrested shortly after the crash but has since been released. However, he remains under investigation as police continue to piece together what happened.
