Brutal Attack in Horsham Park – Police Hunt Teen Thug Gang
Police are on the lookout after a man was savagely attacked in Horsham Park, sparking outrage last Sunday afternoon.
Victim Pushed Off Bike and Beaten Twice
At around 4.55pm on October 16, officers rushed to the scene after reports of a man being punched and kicked by a gang of youths, aged 15 to 18. The victim was cycling when he was shoved off his bike by the group. As if that wasn’t enough, they battered him again after he got back on his feet.
Bystanders Step In as Attackers Flee
Thankfully, eyewitnesses jumped to the rescue, forcing the gang to scatter towards the Kaya in the Park restaurant nearby. The victim suffered multiple facial injuries and was rushed to hospital. He has since been discharged.
Police Seek Witnesses and Phone Footage
Officers believe someone filming the shocking attack may hold key evidence. They urge anyone with footage or information to come forward immediately.
