Man Found with Serious Facial Injuries in Southsea – Police Launch Appeal

Police are hunting for witnesses after a man was discovered with severe facial injuries in Southsea early this morning.

Injured Man Found on Waverley Road

Officers were called at 3.20am on Monday, 15 July, after the man was found on Waverley Road. He was rushed to Southampton General Hospital and remains in treatment.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detective Constable Graham Skull said:

“We are investigating how this man sustained his injuries. We want to hear from anyone who was in the area between 2am and 3am today.”

He added: “Did you see or hear anything unusual? Any information could help our inquiry.”

Officers Visible in the Community

Residents can expect a strong police presence in the area as officers conduct enquiries and are available to chat with the public.
