Brutal Road Rage Attack in Southampton Leaves Man Fighting for Recovery

Police are hunting witnesses after a savage road rage assault in Nursling left a 30-year-old lorry driver seriously hurt.

Violent Clash on Station Road

The attack happened between 3.45pm and 4.05pm on Wednesday, May 4, on Station Road, Nursling. The victim, driving a Raymond Brown HGV lorry, got into a heated spat with drivers of a black Mercedes saloon and a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

Victim Found Unconscious

After the altercation, the man was discovered lying unconscious in the street. Emergency services rushed him to Southampton General Hospital where he is being treated for serious head and face injuries. Thankfully, these injuries are not life-threatening.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The suspects are described as two white men, late teens to early twenties, standing between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall. Officers believe other drivers may have been around Station Road at the time.
