Smash and Grab in St Leonards: Police Hunt Window-Wrecker
Police are on the lookout for a man caught on camera smashing two double-glazed windows in St Leonards.
Incident Details
At 1:55pm on Sunday, 28 July, officers rushed to Sedlescombe Road North after reports of vandalism. A man had smashed two front windows of a house, causing damage.
Suspect Description
A quick-thinking member of the public snapped a photo of the suspect. Police describe him as:
- White male
- About 5’6″ tall
- Around 40 years old
- Chubby build
- Wearing a camouflage hat and jacket
- Cream-coloured trousers
Police Appeal
PC Andrew Hubbard urged anyone with information to come forward: “If you have any information as to who this man is, please contact us online or by calling 101, quoting serial 839 of 28/07.”
