Woman Escapes Grabbing Attempt at St Mary’s Bay Bus Stop
Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a chilling incident in Romney Marsh. Just after 5.30pm on Saturday, May 5, a woman in her 20s was waiting at a bus stop on Dymchurch Road, near Fairway Close, St Mary’s Bay, when a large white van pulled up beside her.
Man Grabs Woman’s Arm – But She Gets Away
A man jumped out of the van and grabbed the woman’s arm. Luckily, she managed to break free and run to safety. The suspect is described as a stocky man in his 50s, around 5ft 8ins tall, with olive skin.
He had short curly grey hair and a grey beard. At the time, he wore a dark zipped-up hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.
