Police Hunt Man Over Shocking Islington Rape
Detectives are urgently searching for a man linked to a brutal rape in Islington. A 37-year-old woman was attacked in the early hours of Saturday, 6 December.
Terrifying Attack After Bus Ride
The victim had taken a bus from Green Park to Archway when two men on scooters approached her. They lured her into a dark alleyway where she was raped.
Thankfully, the woman fought back and managed to escape with help from a passerby before police arrived.

Officers released an e-fit of a suspect they urgently want to speak to. Detective Constable Martyn Kenneally from the Central North Safeguarding team said:
“If you recognise the man in this photo, please get in touch with us without delay. This was a traumatic incident and the victim is being supported by specially trained officers. At this time, it is not being linked to any other incident.”
The police urge anyone with information to call 101, quoting CAD6878/06DEC2019.
