Didcot Neighbourhood Sealed Off in Major Police Lockdown
Police have plunged the Mendip Heights area of Didcot into lockdown following a serious incident. Dozens of officers swarmed the neighbourhood early Thursday, leaving residents trapped in their homes.

Reports say at least ten police vehicles arrived in the early hours. Locals told us they haven’t been able to leave for work amid a heavy police presence. Scene of crime officers and major crime teams are working the case.
Claims of Fatal Stabbing and Gunshots
One neighbour, who caught sight of police arriving during an early morning jog, said officials remain tight-lipped about the situation. Another witness alleged a fatal stabbing occurred at a nearby property and that gunshots were heard.
