Brutal Plaistow Stabbing Sparks Urgent Police Appeal

The Met Police have launched a desperate hunt for witnesses following a savage stabbing during a botched robbery in Plaistow, East London.

Young Man Stabbed Five Times in Violent Attack

The terrifying ordeal unfolded just after 6.25pm on Wednesday, December 20, when a man in his 20s was targeted by three attackers on Western Road, E13. The victim showed guts, managing to dodge one assailant demanding his phone, but his luck ran out on Queens Road at the Rochester Avenue junction.

There, the gang caught up and launched a brutal assault, stabbing the man five times before he staggered away.

Victim Collapses on Green Street, Saved by Prompt Emergency Response

Bleeding heavily, he collapsed on Green Street, E13. Quick-thinking officers and paramedics rushed to the scene, gave first aid, and rushed him to hospital. Thanks to their speedy treatment, the victim has now been discharged.

Detective Pleads for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage

Detective Constable Oliver Beech is spearheading the investigation. He said:

“This was a violent attack on a man simply walking in the street. Our inquiries show the three suspects were lurking around Western Avenue for about 30 minutes before this happened. Did you see them?”

DC Beech also urged anyone who saw the suspects fleeing towards Queens Market around 6.30pm to step forward immediately.
