Woman Slashed in Shocking Late-Night Attack at Lordship Lane Park
At 10.05pm on Wednesday, 18 May, police rushed to Lordship Lane Recreation Ground off Higham Road, N17, after reports of an assault.
Officers found a 43-year-old woman with slash wounds. She received urgent treatment from London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance medics. She was then taken to an east London hospital, where thankfully her injuries were deemed non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Crime Scene Locked Down as Investigation Kicks Off
A crime scene remains in place while police probe the brutal attack. No arrests have been made so far.
