Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Horror Bus Smash in Morden

A motorcyclist is fighting for life after a brutal collision with a London bus in Morden, Surrey. The crash happened on St Helier Avenue just before 11am on Thursday.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Paramedics, police, fire crews, and London’s Air Ambulance were scrambled to the site after the smash was reported at 10:59am. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in West London.

An officer at the scene reassured locals the investigation is underway, urging witnesses to come forward immediately. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed:

“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10.59am on Thursday, May 30 to reports of a road traffic collision in St Helier Avenue, Morden. Police, the London Ambulance Service, the London Fire Brigade and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a motorcyclist in collision with a bus.”

“The motorcyclist was found suffering serious injuries. He has been airlifted to a West London hospital. Road closures are in place. No arrests have been made.”
