Stubbington Bypass Set to Open End of May
The long-awaited Stubbington Bypass is finally in its last construction phase. While the roadworks have caused plenty of headaches, drivers can soon look forward to smoother journeys as the new road opens at the end of May.
Cutting Traffic in Stubbington Village
This 3.5km stretch of road, designed with a 50mph speed limit, aims to slash traffic through Stubbington Village by half. With around 25,000 vehicles passing daily, the bypass will offer much-needed relief for frustrated commuters.
Part of a £100m Upgrade for the Peninsula
The £42 million Stubbington Bypass is just one piece of a bigger puzzle. Over £100 million is being poured into improving access to the peninsula, tackling congestion, and boosting growth and investment. While there’s no magic fix for journey times, these efforts promise real change on the roads.
