A desperate family has launched a Facebook plea to find their missing mum, fearing she is in “grave danger.” Kayleigh Terry is begging the public to share their story and help bring her mother home safe.
Mum Missing for Three Months
Kayleigh revealed her mum, Lorraine Baskott/Ashworth, 56, has been missing for three months. Lorraine suffers from bipolar disorder and other serious health issues. She has a history of suicide attempts, making her disappearance even more alarming.
Controlled by Dangerous Man
The family believes Lorraine is being controlled by a volatile 40-year-old man named Rob James Keytes. Kayleigh warns he has a violent past and has previously targeted someone much younger.
“He will not let us speak to her directly unless she seeks response from him and this is only to demand money from our family,” Kayleigh said.
Rob is said to have emptied Lorraine’s bank accounts. The couple has been moving around the country, possibly in London, Kent, or Dorset.
Family Pleads for Help, Warns of Danger
Despite occasional contact, police have not made it a priority case. But the family is “torn apart with worry.” They urge the public not to give Lorraine money or approach the pair together.
Kayleigh added: “If you see her alone please help her to the nearest safe place.”
Anyone with information is urged to share and stay vigilant.
