Murder probe launched after stabbing at Croydon’s Fellmonger’s Yard
The Metropolitan Police have opened a murder investigation following a stabbing incident at Fellmonger’s Yard in Croydon. A major emergency response swooped on the scene, including the London Air Ambulance, after reports of a serious assault.
Despite heroic efforts from first responders, the victim sadly died at the scene.
Local residents urged to stay clear
Residents near Fellmonger’s Yard are advised to avoid the area while police carry out urgent inquiries. The London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called just after 6pm on Friday, 12 April, to reports of a man suffering a stab wound.
