Bloodbath in Finsbury Park: Man Dead After Brutal Stabbing
Detectives have launched a murder probe after a savage stabbing in Finsbury Park left one man dead and another injured.
Late-Night Stabbing Shocker
At around 3am on Saturday, 21 April, police and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to Seven Sisters Road following reports of a stabbing. A 21-year-old man was found wounded at the scene.
Just a short distance away on Roth Walk, a second man, aged 20, was discovered with stab injuries. Tragically, medics declared him dead at the scene by 3:43am.
Arrest and Investigation Underway
The injured 21-year-old was taken to hospital, treated, and later released. He has since been arrested on suspicion of murder, possession of an offensive weapon, and affray. He remains in police custody at a north London station.
Police believe both men were part of a larger confrontation involving several people near Roth Walk before the stabbing. Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are leading the investigation.
Call for Witnesses
Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is pending. A post-mortem will be carried out in due course.
