Man Stabbed to Death Outside Surrey Pub

Surrey Police have launched a murder probe after a fatal stabbing outside a pub in Ewell.

Deadly Attack at The Wheatsheaf

Emergency crews were scrambled to The Wheatsheaf pub on Kingston Road, near number 34, on Tuesday following reports of a serious assault. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not been released. Police have yet to confirm any arrests.

  • Officers remain on site gathering witness statements and reviewing CCTV footage.
  • Kingston Road is closed, causing major delays around Ewell and Epsom.
  • Drivers are urged to find alternative routes to avoid disruption.

“Detectives are piecing together a timeline. Anyone in the area at the time is urged to come forward,” said a Surrey Police spokesperson.
