The National Police Air Support team was scrambled to Mote Park, Maidstone at around 1.30pm on Saturday, 3 January 2026. Their specialist search aircraft is currently sweeping the park in an ongoing operation.

Why The Police Are in the Park
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed officers were called to the park following a report of a man behaving inappropriately at 12.52pm.
“Officers attended and searched the area. No one matching the man’s description was located,” the spokesman said.
The mystery continues as the helicopter combs the skies over Mote Park.
