A motorbike bought just one hour earlier was seized in Bentilee after its rider was caught with no licence, insurance, or valid tax, West Midlands Police have revealed.

Officers on patrol in the area, riding a BMW R1250RS, stopped the dodgy rider. The bike was then loaded onto a recovery truck and towed straight to a secure police compound.

“If the rider had a licence, insurance, and tax, the bike wouldn’t be having a ride of its own… on a recovery truck from Bentilee!” the police joked online.

More Weapons and Cash Seized

The same crackdown also uncovered:

  • Three deadly knives
  • One screwdriver
  • £1,000 in cash

Police have yet to confirm if arrests were made over the weapons and cash, but investigations remain ongoing.
