Man Left Unconscious in Brutal Bircotes Attack
Police rushed to Droversdale Road, Bircotes just before 1.30pm on Saturday (18 March) after reports of a violent assault that left a man knocked out cold.
Victim Suffers Serious Head and Facial Injuries
The victim needed stitches to a head wound and suffered a fractured cheek in the nasty attack. Thankfully, his injuries weren’t life-threatening, but the assault has left the community shaken.
Officers Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
PC Jon Evans of Nottinghamshire Police said: “This was a nasty assault resulting in hospital treatment. We’re combing CCTV and talking to locals, but we need the public’s help.”
He added: “There were likely many people around when this happened. If you saw anything, please come forward. Your information could be crucial in catching those responsible.”
