Early Morning Car Crime in Ashford: Two Men Busted

At around 3am on Thursday, 26 May 2022, Ashford police swooped after reports of break-ins to multiple vehicles in Bensted, Ashford.

Suspects Spotted and Arrested

The culprits were disturbed during the spree and fled. Officers quickly spotted two men matching the descriptions. A 36-year-old and a 33-year-old, both from Ashford, were arrested on suspicion of tampering with motor vehicles. They were later released on bail pending further investigation.

Stolen Bling Recovered – Owners Wanted

Police search uncovered a haul of jewellery, including a gold watch, a gold ring with an emerald stone, a gold ring with a pearl, and a plain band. Kent Police have released images of these items, hoping for their rightful owners to claim them.
