Kent Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to question over a burglary in Whitstable.
Burglary Hits Whitstable High Street
At around 3.20pm on Friday 24 June 2022, thieves snatched bank cards and cash from the staff area of a commercial property on Whitstable’s High Street.
Fraudulent Transactions Follow Theft
After the burglary, the stolen bank cards were used for fraudulent purchases at nearby shops. Police launched an investigation, gathering witness statements, reviewing CCTV, and conducting area searches.
Officers Seek Public’s Help
Now, officers have issued images of a man who may hold vital information about the crime.
“We urge anyone who recognises this man to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting crime reference 46/121638/22,” a spokesperson said.
