Police Hunt Man Who Abused Staff in Richmond Hill Car Park

Staff at the NCP car park near The Square in Richmond Hill were confronted by a rowdy group on the afternoon of March 31, 2022. Between 1.30pm and 2pm, a member of staff asked the men, who were drinking and smoking in the stairwell, to leave. One man on crutches reacted with abuse, hurling offensive language and making nasty remarks about the staff member’s nationality.

Police Take Hate Crime Seriously

PC Katie Callaghan from Bournemouth Police said: “We take all reports of hate crime extremely seriously and we are carrying out a full investigation into this incident.”

She added that police have an image of the suspect and want to identify him. “I understand from our enquiries that this man is regularly seen in the vicinity, but we have so far been unable to identify him.”
