Late-Night Card Theft Attempt at Kingsmead Road Cash Machine
Just after 11pm on Friday, 13 October 2023, trouble struck outside the Sainsbury’s cash machine on Kingsmead Road. A man was using the ATM when two lads suddenly shoved him aside, trying to use his bank card to withdraw cash.
Thieves Fail But Make Off With Card
The duo, both described as around 5ft 5in and wearing hooded tops, couldn’t get any money from the card. Still, they didn’t leave empty-handed – they took the card with them and vanished from the scene.
Police Hunt for Witnesses
Kent Police are investigating and say several people were nearby but haven’t come forward yet. They need anyone who saw what happened to speak up.
