Police Hunt Man Caught on CCTV

PC Tom Booth from Dover’s Local Policing Team said: “We believe the man in the CCTV image may have crucial information for our investigation. His face isn’t clear, but someone must recognise him.” Police urge the public to come forward.

Highways Boss Warns of Safety Risk and Cost

Kent County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, David Brazier, slammed the theft. He said:

“Stealing highway drainage covers is a real danger. It leaves unguarded holes in the ground, risking serious injury to road users. Besides the threat, we have to make the area safe and replace the covers – a bill that can cost hundreds of pounds each time.”
