79-Year-Old Neil Vanishes Near Longham Lakes
Neil, 79, was last seen at 10:20am on Tuesday, 31 August 2021, at a home on Runnymede Avenue. He was expected back by 11:30am but has not been seen since.
What Neil Was Wearing
- White male, 5ft 8in, slim build
- Silver ponytail and a silver beard
- Green jacket and green trousers
- Wellington boots
- Possibly a black beanie hat
Search Efforts Focused Near Longham Lakes
Chief Inspector Claire Phillips of Dorset Police revealed Neil was last spotted turning onto a footpath from Ringwood Road towards Longham Lakes around 10:30am on the day he disappeared.
“Our search efforts remain focused on this area, and we continue to keep Neil’s family updated,” she said.
Police have released a new photo of Neil, described by his family as more accurate than previous images.
Police Plea to Public
Chief Inspector Phillips urged anyone with information or who spotted someone matching Neil’s description to contact Dorset Police immediately.
“We also ask motorists to check dashcam footage from 10am to midday on 31 August on Ringwood Road between the Bear Cross pub and Longham United Reform Church,” she added.
