71-Year-Old Woman Injured in Collision
Just before 8:10pm, emergency services were called to St Helens Close. A 71-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle while trying to stop her car being stolen. The collision came moments after a burglary at the same address. The offenders fled and abandoned the car nearby. The victim remains in hospital receiving treatment for significant injuries.
