Man Arrested After Weapon Found During Police Search
Police swooped on a suspicious man in Kirkby at around 8am yesterday. A 62-year-old Northwood resident was stopped and searched, leading officers to discover a knife tucked in his pocket. He was promptly arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and a Class B drug.
Dangerous Weapon Off Streets Thanks to Sharp-eyed Cops
Inspector David Morgan praised the crackdown: “Thanks to the vigilance of our officers, a dangerous weapon has now been removed from our streets and can no longer be used to cause fear and harm in our communities in Kirkby and across Merseyside.”
