Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Early Morning Crash in Fleet

Police are hunting witnesses after a pedestrian was left fighting for his life in a hit-and-run outside Lloyd’s Bank on Fleet Road.

The smash happened at 3.14am on Monday 22 April when a blue Vauxhall Corsa collided with a 20-year-old man from Farnborough. He suffered serious arm and head injuries and was rushed to hospital.

Driver Arrested But Now Released

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He has since been released but remains under investigation as police pieced together what happened.

Police Seek Dashcam Footage and Eyewitnesses

Officers believe other drivers were in the area at the time and may have seen the crash or caught it on camera.
