A pensioner driven mishap rocked a peaceful Fair Oak village on Friday afternoon. The culprit? An elderly woman behind the wheel of a Hyundai hatchback who ploughed straight into Grande Wines on Sumerlands Road causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to the shop front and precious stock.
Shock and Heartbreak at Grande Wines
The shop’s owner was left devastated. “This is devastating, I have worked so hard to build up a customer base here over the past two years,” they said. “Now we have to shut temporarily while repairs and insurance take their course. I don’t know what to do next.”
