Hampshire Police are urgently appealing for witnesses following a serious smash on the A3 near Liss just before midnight on December 18.
Black VW Passat Drives Wrong Way, Causes Horror Head-On Crash
Officers were called after a black Volkswagen Passat was spotted driving southbound in the northbound lane.
Just after 11.50pm, the Passat collided head-on with a BMW near Ham Barn roundabout. A third car, a Renault, then crashed into the Passat.
23-Year-Old VW Driver Seriously Injured, Others Walk Away
The 23-year-old Passat driver was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Thankfully, the drivers of the BMW and Renault walked away unharmed.
Dashcam Footage Could Hold Vital Clues
Police want anyone who saw the Passat travelling the wrong way or with dashcam footage heading south from Liphook on the northbound carriageway to come forward.
