Detectives in Southampton are on high alert after a string of sexual assaults on city buses. Since June 11, five women have reported being groped by a suspicious older man onboard. Police believe there could be more victims who haven’t come forward yet.
Victim Warning: Man Targets Women on Southampton Buses
The alleged attacker is described as a brown-skinned male, aged between 60 and 70. The most recent incident took place at a bus stop on Coopers Lane, where a 15-year-old girl was assaulted.
Police Arrest London Man, Investigation Ongoing
A 70-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault but has since been released. He remains under investigation as cops continue probing linked incidents.
Police Urge Witnesses and Victims to Speak Out
