Man Murdered at Hayling Island’s Gandhi Restaurant – Police Urge Diners to Come Forward
Police are hunting for diners who visited Gandhi Restaurant on Hayling Island last Friday after a man was brutally murdered. Three men remain in custody at portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Central Police Station as detectives launch a full murder probe.
Grim Scene at Gandhi Restaurant
The deadly attack took place in the early hours of Saturday, November 4, at around 1am inside the Hollow Lane eatery. A 65-year-old man was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham but tragically died just before 10am.
Scenes of Crime officers and the Major Crime Team swarmed the restaurant this evening in forensic suits, combing through the premises including the living quarters next door. A police cordon remains firmly in place.
Three Men Arrested Over Murder
Three suspects, aged 32, 34, and 37, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are being questioned by detectives. Police continue to guard the scene as the investigation intensifies.
