Man Dies After Horror Attack at Gandhi Restaurant – Three Held

Police have launched a murder probe after a man was fatally attacked at Gandhi Restaurant on Hayling Island in the early hours of Saturday, November 4. The 65-year-old victim, rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital, sadly died before 10am.

Three Men in Custody

Officers have arrested three men, aged 32, 34, and 37, on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody at portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Central Police Station. A police cordon remains in place around the restaurant on Hollow Lane, South Hayling, while the investigation continues.

Forensics and Major Crime Team on Scene

Tonight, forensic officers and the Major Crime Team were seen in full forensic suits searching the restaurant’s living quarters and surrounding areas. Police remain on high alert at the scene as they piece together what happened.

Police Appeal to Witnesses and Diners

Detectives are urging anyone who dined at Gandhi Restaurant on Friday, November 3, or who was in the area, to come forward with information that could aid the investigation.
